SAN ANTONIO, TX—Get ready for an immersive African safari-style experience with San Antonio Zoo’s all-new Conserfari Tours, an unforgettable safari-style drive through the zoo’s largest habitat, the Naylor Savanna! This one-of-a-kind experience gives guests the chance to ride aboard a Toyota Tundra truck donated by North Park Toyota with safari vehicle custom outfitting donated by South Texas Outfitters. The Conserfari Tours safari vehicles drive guests right into the heart of the Naylor Savanna alongside some of Africa’s most iconic species, including giraffes, zebras, ostriches, storks, and sitatungas.
 

“This experience allows guests to see wildlife and feed giraffes, zebras, ostriches, and other species from a whole new perspective! -  while learning about the zoo’s commitment to conservation,” said Tim Morrow, CEO at San Antonio Zoo. “Our goal is to inspire visitors to connect with nature in a meaningful way, and Conserfari Tours is the perfect opportunity to do just that.”

IMPORTANT TOUR DETAILS

   •   Guests must be 5 years or older to participate.

   •   Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.

   •   The safari vehicle has sitting-room only (no standing during the tour).

   •   Check in at the Carousel Ticket Booth at least 15 minutes before your scheduled tour.

   •   No food or drinks are allowed inside the Conserfari Tours truck.
