Internationally celebrated by many Asian cultures, the Lunar New Year arrives on January 29, 2025. This year marks the Year of the Snake.

Did you know that the belief that follows the Lunar New Year is that people are born with characteristics and traits similar to the animal associated with their birth year? Those lucky to be born during snake years are thought to be deep and complex in addition to cautious and may be described as introverted but are also fiercely passionate, sensitive, and wise.

If you find yourself in the Alamo City during the Lunar New Year, here are some opportunities to commemorate the celebration in San Antonio!
